PRIDE CRUISE IN SOUTH AFRICA
MVT Productions has hosted several queer events in South Africa including Mr and Miss Cape Town, Drag Brunches and the Moonstruck Summer Concert in the Mother City.
In 2023, they are going big, taking to the seas for a LGBTQI+ cruise in South Africa. The luxury three-night cruise is set to depart on 17 February 2023 from Cape Town. The cruise will travel to Mossel Bay on the Garden Route.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday 11 October, MVT Productions said the cruise is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the LGBTQI+ community, families and allies. The cruise could also soon become part of the annual Cape Town Pride Festival.
‘A WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITY’
Ronvin Fransman, the travel director of Grandeur Travel, said the LGBTQI+ cruise was also a chance for people who have never been on a cruise to experience it.
“It is a wonderful opportunity for those who have never cruised before to take their first trip, as well as invite all seasoned cruise line travellers to enjoy time with the LGBTIQA+ group as we enjoy special moments curated specifically for LGBTQA+ families,” said Fransman.
The trip is all-inclusive and also includes on-board entertainment and several experiences.
“We have been enjoying success on land and we look forward to putting together some unique, yet fun, moments for all to enjoy,” said Barry Reid from MVT Productions as per IOL.
