Food and drink fundies won’t want to miss this one! The Mzansi Food & Drink Show is set to be biggest culinary show to hit South Africa.

The Mzanzi Food & Drink Show is hurtling towards your events calendar fast, and it promises to be the biggest culinary show South Africa has ever seen.
The food and drink festival, which will take place at the Kyalami Convention Centre in Gauteng, will integrate some of Mzansi’s previous events like the popular Coffee & Chocolate Expo and Fire & Feast Meat and Food Festival, while also adding in newbies like the Fine Food & Wine, Bar & Good Spirits and the Mzansi Food Market, says Tourism Update.

Hanli Goncalves, Portfolio Director of the Mzansi Food & Drink Show said that South Africans were ready for a culinary show of this stature.
“It will be the stage on which local culinary personalities will strut their stuff and all the latest foods and trends are on offer, with something for the whole family and for all tastes.” Goncalves said.

Five food festivals in one
The five-in-one major event is expected draw more than 30 000 food and drink lovers, say reports, and visitors can expect the following five events that will take place at the culinary show:
Coffee & Chocolate Expo:Â For incredible coffee and chocolate pairings, coffee workshops, as well as the Young Mzansi Barista Championships.
Fire & Feast Festival: Braai fans will be in absolute braai-heaven here. The event will feature ‘Braai Wars’, the Butcher’s Challenge, a Chilli Eating Competition and Plant-Based Outdoor Cooking Masterclasses.
Fine Food & Wine Show: For the food and wine lovers. The event will have a special Wine Tasting Lounge, Mzansi Junior Chef of the Year Competition, Tablescapes and Settings Masterclasses.
Bar & Good Spirits Showcase: For the barkeepers, bartenders and bar-lovers. This event will host special bar attractions like a ‘Know Your Whisky Seminar’, a Craft Beer Head-to-Head and a Waitron Uniform Fashion Show.
Mzansi Food Market:Â This one will feature food-trucks and food stalls highlighting food and produce from all different South African cultures and areas.
