CAPE TOWN ALMOST MAKES TOP 20 BEST CITIES IN THE WORLD, COMES IN AT 11TH PLACE!
If you’ve ever been to the Mother City, then you know, it is breathtakingly beautiful.
In fact, so many people agree about this that the city has placed at the 11th spot on a poll that was set up by Timeout Index Quiz.
Participants of the poll were asked to rate cities around the world based on hiking spots, food, cultures, beaches, and nightlife.
“What’s the restaurant scene like? The bar circuit? How easy is it to date? To make friends? What do you think of the art and nightlife? Where dare we say it, is the coolest part of town?” are some of the questions “city dwellers” were faced with.

NOT TOO EXPENSIVE BUT NOT QUITE SAFE EITHER
Per a Cape Town ETC article, this year’s theme focused on cities that aren’t boring or overly expensive, or overrated.
Voters were also asked to base their scores on practical stuff like walkability, good public transport, and safety.
While it is well known for unemployment, poverty, and a shockingly high crime rate, it beat other world-renowned cities like New York, London, Lisbon, and Tokyo.
