Shortest queues in the world at Cape Town International Airport
A recent study done by Casago has analysed passenger reviews on airlinequality.com, and found the longest and shortest queueing times at airports around the world.
According to the study, these queueing times were rated between one and five stars and then ranked to identify where has the highest percentage of positive reviews for airport waiting times.

The research also revealed which nationalities complained the most about airport queues, based on identifying the home nation of each passenger who gave the review and then ranking those nations on the lowest percentage of reviews with a 4 or 5 star rating.

Best and worst
The data found that South Africa’s very own Cape Town International Airport ranked very highly for the shortest queues in the world.
Cape Town International Airport came in third as one of the best airports in the world for queueing times, with 70.45% of passengers rating the times either 4 or 5 stars.

The number one spot was taken by Singapore’s Changi Airport, with 74.50% happy passengers, and in second place Cambodia’s Siem Reap International Airport scored 71.43%.
The study found that the world’s worst airport for queues was Grenoble Alpes Isère Airport in France with just 1.59% of reviews are 4 or 5 stars.
