Airlink will soon be launching a new route that will connect Mbombela and Kruger National Park to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.
Mbombela to Victoria Falls
A new route from Airlink will soon see travellers being able to connect directly from Kruger National Park to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.
The new route will complement Airlink’s established service between Mbombela’s Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA) and Livingstone on the Zambian side of the iconic waterfall, reports Travel News.
Airlink CEO and Managing Director, Rodger Foster, says that the new service will provide travellers with a even more choice of itineraries using direct Airlink flights, without having to connect via Johannesburg.
“The new service to Victoria Falls expands our direct connections between Southern Africa’s prime tourist attractions, i.e. the Kruger National Park and surrounds, Victoria Falls, as well as Cape Town and the Garden Route,” Foster said.
The flights are scheduled to begin on 28 November later this year.
Flights will be operated with modern Embraer regional jets, according to the following schedule:
- Flight 4Z 476 will depart Kruger Mpumalanga International Airportat 11:35 and will arrive in Vic Falls 13:25 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
- Flight 4Z 477 wil then leave Vic Falls at 14:00 and arrives at Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport at 15:40 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
