IMPACT-BASED WARNINGS:
A.An Orange Level 9 warning: Disruptive rainfall leading to widespread flooding of roads affecting travel services and cutting-off communities, bringing danger to life, damage to property, widespread mudslides, rockfalls and soil erosion over in the north-eastern parts of Kwa-Zulu-Natal and eastern parts of Mpumalanga.
B. Yellow Level 4 warning: Disruptive rainfall leading to flooding of potholes, settlements and low-lying bridges, difficult driving conditions and slippery of roads is expected over the south western KwaZulu-Natal.
C. An Orange Level 5 warning: Disruptive rainfall leading to flooding of informal/formal settlements, flooding of roads and bridges, major roads affected and some communities being cut-off is expected over Alfred Nzo, OR Tambo DMs, Elundini, Sakhisizwe, Engcobo, Intsika Yethu, Mbhashe and Mnquma Local Municpalities of the Eastern Cape province.
D. A Yellow level 2 warning: Disruptive rain leading to localised flooding of susceptible settlements, roads, low lying areas and bridges is expected over Gauteng in the early morning, south western Mpumalanga, Limpopo as well as in the Makana, Ndlambe, Ngqushwa, Raymond Mhlaba, Amahlathi and Great Kei Local Municipalities as well as Buffalo City Metro of the Eastern Cape.

Temperature: Cloudy and cool with scattered showers and thundershowers.

Mpumalanga:
Temperature: Cloudy and cool with scattered showers and thundershowers but widespread in the east. It will be cold in places on the eastern Highveld and along the escarpment.
Limpopo:
Temperature: Cloudy and cool to warm with scattered showers and thundershowers but widespread in places in the south-east.
North-West Province:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm, with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered in the east.
Free State:
Temperature: Cloudy and cool to warm, with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered in the east.
Northern Cape:
Temperature: Cloudy to partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers in the extreme southeastern.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong southerly to south-easterly.
Western Cape:
Temperature: Fine and cool to warm in the west, otherwise cloudy in the east with light rain in the eastern parts of the south coast in the morning, becoming partly cloudy to sunny from the afternoon.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh easterly to south-easterly along the south coast, otherwise fresh to strong southerly to south-easterly.

Eastern Cape:
The Western half – Cloudy and cool to cold with isolated showers and rain, becoming partly cloudy during the evening.
The Western half -Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south easterly.
The Eastern half – Cloudy and cold with scattered showers and thundershowers, but widespread along the Wild Coast.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly.
Kwazulu-Natal:
Temperature: Cloudy and cool with widespread showers and thundershowers but scattered in the southwest.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be Fresh to strong southerly to south westerly, becoming moderate from the south towards the afternoon.
