IMPACT-BASED WARNINGS:
1. Yellow level 2 warning for severe thunderstorms with disruptive rain and gusty winds leading to localized flooding of susceptible formal and informal settlement and roads as well as difficult driving conditions is expected over the southern part of the Free State and the extreme eastern parts of Northern Cape as well as the northern areas of the Eastern Cape and the western parts of Kwa-Zulu-Natal.

Gauteng:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with scattered showers and thundershowers.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Exreme.
Mpumalanga:
Temperature: Cloudy in the east, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with scattered showers and thundershowers but isolated over the Lowveld.
Limpopo:
Temperature: Cloudy in the east, otherwise partly cloudy cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered in the south.
North-West Province:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers
Free State:
Temperature: Cloudy in the east at first, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm, with scattered showers and thundershowers, but isolated in the extreme south west.
Northern Cape:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm to hot, with isolated showers and thundershowers in the central and eastern parts.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south-easterly.
Western Cape:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool to warm, but cloudy along the south coast with a chance of light rain from the evening.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be light at variable north of saldanha bay, becoming moderate south to south-westerly, otherwise moderate to fresh easterly to south-easterly, but strong along the south-west coast.

Eastern Cape:
The Western half – Cloudy with morning fog patches over interior at first, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers.
The Western half -Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south easterly.
The Eastern half -Cloudy with morning fog patches in places south of escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with scattered showers and thundershowers.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north easterly.
Kwazulu-Natal:
Temperature: Morning fog in places over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and warm but cool in the south. Scattered showers and thundershowers are expected.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate southerly to south-westerly north of Durban, otherwise easterly to north-easterly.
