Yellow level 2 warning for severe thunderstorms with disruptive rain and gusty winds leading to localized flooding of susceptible formal and informal settlement and roads as well as difficulty in driving conditions expected over Free State (except the south western parts), Mpumalanga, northern areas of the Eastern Cape, western and northern Kwa-Zulu-Natal, eastern parts of the North West, extreme south western parts of Limpopo as well as places in Gauteng.

Gauteng:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with widespread showers and thundershowers but scattered in the south west.

Mpumalanga:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm to hot, becoming cloudy with scattered to widespread showers and thundershowers.
Limpopo:
Temperature: Cloudy in the Lowveld with isolated showers, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with scattered showers and thundershowers but widespread in the south and south-west.
North-West Province:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm, with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers.
Free State:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool to warm, with scattered showers and thundershowers but widespread in the east.
Northern Cape:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm to hot, with isolated showers and thundershowers in the east and the south eastern parts.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be light and variable, becoming moderate south to south-westerly.
Western Cape:
Temperature: Cloudy with morning fog along the west coast, where it will become fine and warm, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated thundershowers over the extreme north-east in the afternoon. It will be cloudy and cool along the south coast with a chance of light rain in the east at first.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-easterly.

Eastern Cape:
The Western half – Partly cloudy and cool to warm, becoming cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers.
The Western half -Wind: The wind along the coast will be Moderate southwesterly, becoming easterly to southeasterly in the afternoon.
The Eastern half -Partly cloudy and cool, becoming cloudy with scattered showers and thundershowers, but isolated in the south-west.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh easterly to northeasterly
Kwazulu-Natal:
Temperature: Morning fog patches in places over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and warm but cool in places in the south-west. Scattered afternoon showers and thundershowers are expected.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be Moderate southerly to south-westerly in the south, otherwise northerly to north-easterly spreading to the north by evening
