IMPACT-BASED WARNINGS
A. Yellow level 1 Warning: Damaging Winds resulting in difficulty in navigation at sea between Port Alfred and Port Edward, reaching Richards Bay in the afternoon.
FIRE DANGER WARNINGS:
Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over Central Karoo District Municipality of the Western Cape, Northern Cape, Dr Beyers Naude, Inxuba Yethema, Enoch Mgijima and Emalahleni Local Municipalities of the Eastern Cape as well as the western parts of both North-West and Free State.

Temperature: Cloudy in the morning, otherwise partly cloudy and cold but cool in the north.

Mpumalanga
Temperature: Cloudy and cold to cool with morning drizzle and fog along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy, becoming fine in the afternoon.
Limpopo
Temperature: Cloudy and cold to cool with drizzle along the escarpment. It will become partly cloudy in the evening
North West
Temperature: Partly cloudy in the east until late afternoon, otherwise fine and cool to warm. It will be windy in the west.
Free State
Temperature: Morning fog patches in the east, otherwise fine and cool. It will be windy in the west.
Northern Cape
Temperature: Fine, windy and cool to warm but cold along the coast. Frost can be expected over the interior in the morning.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly but strong during the late afternoon into the evening
Western Cape
Temperature: Cloudy along the western coastline in the evening, otherwise fine and cool to warm. It will be windy over the interior in the afternoon.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh easterly to north-easterly in the south, otherwise south-easterly, becoming westerly to north-westerly from the afternoon.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.
Eastern Cape
The Western half: Cloudy with morning fog in places over the western interior, otherwise fine and warm.
The Western half – The wind along the coast will be Light to moderate north-easterly.
The Eastern half: Cloudy along the escarpment at first, otherwise fine and cool but warm in the south-west.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong north-easterly.
KwaZulu-Natal
Temperature: Morning fog over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and cool.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be Moderate easterly in the north at first, otherwise moderate to fresh north-easterly, becoming strong south of Richards Bay in the afternoon.
