Gauteng
Temperature: Fine, windy and warm to hot.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.
Mpumalanga
Temperature: Morning fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise fine and warm, but partly cloudy in the east in the morning.
Limpopo
Temperature: Cloudy in the east at first with morning fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated thunderstorms over the central parts
North West
Temperature: Fine and warm to hot.
Free State
Temperature: Fine and warm.
Northern Cape
Temperature: Fine and warm to hot but cool to cold in the south.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be light north-westerly in the morning, becoming moderate to fresh south-westerly to southerly.
Western Cape
Temperature: Morning fog patches along the west coast, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to cold but cloudy with isolated to scattered showers and rain in the south-west
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-westerly becoming strong between Cape Point and Cape Agulhas, where it will be moderating in the evening.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.
Eastern Cape
The Western half: Fine and warm, becoming partly cloudy in places along the coast in the evening.
The Western half – The wind along the coast will be light northerly at first, otherwise moderate to fresh south-westerly.
The Eastern half: Morning fog patches in places south of escapement at first, otherwise fine and warm.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be Light north-westerly, otherwise moderate to fresh south-westerly.
KwaZulu-Natal
Temperature: Morning fog patches over the interior, otherwise fine and warm to hot in places in the west but partly cloudy in the north and along the coast.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be light south-easterly in the north at first, otherwise moderate north-easterly, becoming fresh in the afternoon.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.
