Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over Emalahleni, Intsika Yethu, and parts of Enoch Mgijima Local municipality in the Eastern Cape and over the southern part of the Northern Cape

Temperature and UVB forecast
Gauteng:
Temperature: Cloudy in the south with isolated showers in the extreme south, otherwise partly cloudy and warm.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.
Mpumalanga:
Temperature: Morning fog along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers over the Highveld and escarpment. It will be hot over the Lowveld.
Limpopo:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm to hot.
North-West Province:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers in the west.
Free State:
Temperature: Cloudy and cool to warm, with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers, but scattered in the west .
Northern Cape:
Temperature: Morning fog along the coast, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers, but scattered in the south east.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-westerly becoming southerly to south-easterly in the afternoon.
Western Cape:
Temperature: Cloudy with morning fog over the south-western parts but a chance of rain along the extreme south western coast in the evening, otherwise fine and cool but warm over the extreme north-eastern interior.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-westerly to westerly becoming moderate to fresh south-westerly along the south coast from the afternoon, spreading to the south-west coast from evening.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.
Eastern Cape:
The Western half – Cloudy with fog patches in places over interior in the morning, otherwise fine and cool, but partly cloudy in places along the coast.
The Western half -Wind: The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh south-westerly.
The Eastern half -Fog patches in places south of escapement at first, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers, but scattered in the north.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be Moderate north-easterly at first, otherwise moderate to fresh south-westerly
Kwazulu-Natal:
Temperature: Morning fog over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and warm but hot in places in the north-east. Isolated showers and thundershowers are expected in the south and west.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh north-easterly becoming south-westerly in the south by evening.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.
