IMPACT-BASED WARNINGS:
Yellow Level 2 Warning for Damaging Waves resulting in difficulty in navigation at sea is expected between Saldanha Bay and Cape Agulhas.

FIRE DANGER WARNINGS:
Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over !Kheis, Siyathemba and Ubuntu Local Municipalitis of the Northern Cape.
ADVISORIES:
An intense Cut-Off Low pressure system is expected to affect the Western, Northern and Eastern Cape Provinces Friday to Sunday (12-14/05/2023). The public and small stock farmers are advised that very cold and wet conditions with light snowfalls on the mountain peaks, strong winds and rough seas can be expected. Heavy rain could result in localised flooding in places along the coast and adjacent interior.

Gauteng:
Temperature: Fine and cool but warm in places in the north.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.
Mpumalanga:
Temperature: Morning fog on the Highveld, otherwise fine and cool to warm, but partly cloudy in the east.
Limpopo:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool to warm.
North-West Province:
Temperature: Fine and cool to warm.
Free State:
Temperature: Fine and cool.
Northern Cape:
Temperature: Partly cloudy in the west with morning fog patches, otherwise fine and cool to warm. The wind along the coast will be light and variable, becoming moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly from the afternoon, reaching strong towards the evening.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-easterly reaching strong at times.
Western Cape:
Temperature: Fine and cool to warm with high-level clouds but hot over the west coast and in places over the Karoo, while cloudy along the south coast in the morning with early morning fog patches.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south to south-easterly, but light and variable along the south coast. It will become moderate west to north-westerly north of Lambert’s Bay, spreading along the south coast during the evening.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.
Eastern Cape:
The Western half – Fine and warm.
The Western half -Wind: The wind along the coast will be Light and variable.
The Eastern half -Fine and cool to warm.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be Light north easterly
Kwazulu-Natal:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool with isolated showers in the north but scattered along the north coast.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate southerly to south-westerly
