IMPACT-BASED WARNINGS:
A. Yellow Level 2 warning for severe thunderstorms with large hail, heavy downpours and strong winds resulting in localised damages to property and localised disruptions to livelihoods, localized flooding of susceptible roads, low-lying areas and bridges is expected over the Joe Gqabi, Chris Hani, Alfred Nzo and OR Tambo districts in the Eastern Cape.
FIRE DANGER WARNINGS:
1. Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the Bergrivier, Matzikama, Laingsburg and Prince Albert municipalities in the Western Cape.

Gauteng:
Temperature: Partly cloudy in the morning, otherwise cloudy and cool with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers in the south.

Mpumalanga:
Temperature: Morning fog along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers, except in the Lowveld where it will be hot.
Limpopo:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers in the western Bushveld.
North-West Province:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm to hot with afternoon showers and thundershowers.
Free State:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm to hot with afternoon showers and thundershowers, except in the west.
Northern Cape:
Temperature: Cloudy with fog along the coast until the afternoon, otherwise fine and cool to warm.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be light and variable until the afternoon, becoming light to moderate south-westerly to southerly.
Western Cape:
Temperature: Cloudy, but partly cloudy in the northern interior and cool to warm with light rain and isolated showers in the south.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh westerly to south-westerly reaching strong at times in places, becoming southerly to south-easterly north of Cape Agulhas from the afternoon.

Eastern Cape:
The Western half –Partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers in the east, but light rain along the coast. It will become cloudy in the evening.
The Western half -Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south-westerly.
The Eastern half -Partly cloudy and warm with scattered showers and thundershowers, becoming cloudy in the evening.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong north-easterly at first, becoming south-westerly.
Kwazulu-Natal:
Temperature: Fine and warm, becoming cloudy in the afternoon with scattered showers and thundershowers but isolated showers in the north-east.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly, becoming south-westerly from the south in the afternoon.
