IMPACT-BASED WARNINGS:
A yellow level 2 warning for severe thunderstorms with heavy downpours and strong winds leading to localised flooding of settlements, susceptible roads, and low-lying areas, as well as minor vehicle accidents and difficult driving conditions is expected over the Highveld and escarpment of Mpumalanga, the southern parts of Limpopo and the Midlands and western interior of KwaZulu-Natal.
FIRE DANGER WARNINGS:
Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the Kai !Garib Municipality of the Northern Cape.

Gauteng:
Temperature: Cloudy and warm with scattered showers and thundershowers.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Low.
Mpumalanga:
Temperature: Cloudy and cool to warm with scattered showers and thundershowers but isolated in the Lowveld.
Limpopo:
Temperature: Cloudy and cool to warm with scattered showers and thundershowers but isolated in the northern and eastern parts.
North-West Province:
Temperature: Cloudy and warm with scattered showers and thundershowers, but isolated in the west where it will be partly cloudy.
Free State:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered in the north-east.
Northern Cape:
Temperature: Morning fog along the coast where it will be cool, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers in the north and east. It will be fine in the extreme west.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be strong southerly becoming north-westerly in the afternoon.
Western Cape:
Temperature: Cloudy to partly cloudy in the east and along the south coast at first, otherwise fine and warm to hot but very hot in places over the interior. It will become partly cloudy in the north-east by afternoon with isolated thundershowers.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be strong south-easterly but fresh to strong easterly along the south coast.

Eastern Cape:
The Western half – Cloudy in the east, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers in the north.
The Western half -Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate southerly to south-westerly, becoming easterly late afternoon.
The Eastern half -Partly cloudy in the north at first, otherwise cloudy and cool to warm with scattered light rain and showers along the coast, but showers and thundershowers over the interior.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate easterly to south-easterly.
Kwazulu-Natal:
Temperature: Cloudy and cool to warm with scattered showers and thundershowers.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate southerly to south-easterly in the south, otherwise moderate easterly to north-easterly.
