The most international caps for football (soccer) by an individual (male) is 200, achieved by Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal) between 20 August 2003 and 20 June 2023.
Ronaldo surpassed Kuwati striker Bader Al-Mutawa’s record of 196 international appearances on 23 March 2023 and has now achieved an updated total of 200 following a 1-0 victory against Iceland at Reykjavik’s Laugardalsvollur stadium on 20 June 2023.
