The most consecutive stairs climbed while balancing a person on the head is 100, and was achieved by Giang Quoc Nghiep and Giang Quoc Co (both Vietnam) in Girona, Catalonia, Spain, on 23 December 2021.
Head-to-head was already a trick of the Giang brothers’ circus show. However, they wanted to challenge their ability, doing something even harder.
The brothers broke this record in 2016, climbing 90 stairs, but were beaten with 97 stairs by Pablo Nonato y Joel Yaicate two years later.
They have returned to the same venue, the Cathedral of Girona (Spain), to recover their title, rising 100 stairs in 53.6 seconds!
