The heaviest sunflower head is 6.446 kg (14.2154 lbs), and was grown by Kevin Fortey, Gareth Fortey, Marjorie Fortey and Jamie Courtney-Fortey (all UK), as verified in Cwmbran, Gwent, UK, on 7 October 2022.
The Fortey family grew this sunflower to promote their sport of competitive horticulture.
