The heaviest kidney stone is 800 g (1.76 lb), and was removed from Canistus Coonghe (Sri Lanka) in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on 1 June 2023.
The previous record of 620 g (1.36 lb) had not been surpassed since 2008. The kidney stone was also awarded a record as the largest kidney stone at 13.372 cm (5.264 in).
