Home Affairs expands to MORE bank branches
The Department of Home Affairs has expanded its services to more bank branches in South Africa, with a new office opening up in the Northern Cape. On Tuesday, 8 November, the department said that it is in the process of launching a new office at the Kathu Mall in the Northern Cape.
The new office is currently taking walk-ins as part of its stress testing and will go into full operation soon.
With the new inclusion in the Northern Cape, it will bring the total number of active bank branches which offer Home Affairs services to 27, with the department anticipating the rollout of 43 more agreements with participating banks in 2023, reports Business Insider.
Home Affairs is also looking to launch satellite offices at popular malls across the country.
