Justin Bieber has announced some unfortunate news regarding his Justice World Tour, days before kick off in South Africa.
With just days to go before his concerts in South Africa, Justin Bieber has officially cancelled the remainder of his Justice World Tour – citing health reasons.
The singer made the announcement on his Instagram account on Sunday.
JUSTIN BIEBER: ‘I NEED TO GET BETTER’
Following his brush with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome in June as well as his Lyme disease diagnosis in 2020, Bieber has had a difficult few months on the health front.
Whilst he resumed his Justice World Tour in July following a month’s rest, life on the road “took a toll”.
Taking to his IG account, he shared: After resting and consulting with my doctors, family, and team, I went to Europe in an effort to continue with the tour. I performed six live shows but it took a real toll on me.”
He continued: “This past weekend, I performed at Rock in Rio and I gave everything I have to the people in Brazil. After getting off stage, the exhaustion overtook me and I realized that I need to make my health the priority right now.
“So I’m going to take a break from touring for the time being. I’m going to be okay but I need time to rest and get better. I’ve been so proud to bring this show and our message of Justice to the world.”

It’s unclear if and when the star will return to performing in concert.
NO WORD YET FROM BIG CONCERTS
Whilst Beliebers around the world will be praying for the star’s full recovery, it goes without saying that many will be sorely disappointed.
The pop singer was billed to perform in South Africa on 28 September at the DHL Stadium in Cape Town. On 1 October, Justin Bieber was expected to appear at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.
Big Concerts have yet to issue an update on what will happen next. The show promoters will likely offer a full refund for those who have secured tickets.
