IMPACT-BASED WARNINGS
A. A yellow level 1 warning: Damaging waves resulting in difficulty in navigation at sea for small vessels and personal watercraft is expected between Cape Point and Struisbaai from the evening, subsiding Wednesday morning.
FIRE DANGER WARNINGS:
A. Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the central and the eastern parts of Northern Cape, western parts of North-West Province, the central and western parts of Free State, Makana Local Municipality and the northern parts of the Eastern Cape as well as the Central Karoo District Municipality of the Western Cape.

Gauteng
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.
Mpumalanga
Temperature: Fine and warm but hot in the Lowveld, becoming partly cloudy with isolated afternoon thunderstorms in the western parts.
Limpopo
Temperature: Fine and warm to hot but very hot in places in the south, becoming partly cloudy with isolated afternoon thundershowers in places over the southern parts.
North West
Temperature: Fine and warm to hot, becoming partly cloudy with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers.
Free State
Temperature: Fine and warm, becoming partly cloudy with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers, except in the extreme south.
Northern Cape
Temperature: Fine over the central parts, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers in the extreme east, but cool in the west. Morning fog patches are expected along the coast.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly.
Western Cape
Temperature: Fine in the north-east, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm. It will be cloudy in the south-west with evening isolated showers and rain. Morning fog patches are expected along the coast.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh westerly to north-westerly, becoming strong to near gale south of Cape Point in the evening.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.
Eastern Cape
The Western half: Morning fog patches over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and warm, but cool along the coast.
The Western half – The wind along the coast will be light to moderate easterly to north-easterly, but light to moderate south-westerly from the west in the afternoon.
The Eastern half: Partly cloudy and warm but cool along the coast.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be light north-westerly, becoming light to moderate easterly late morning
KwaZulu-Natal
Temperature: Morning fog over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and warm but hot in the west where isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate south westerly south of Tugela Mouth, becoming easterly to south-easterly, otherwise moderate to fresh north-easterly.
