Gauteng
Temperature: Partly cloudy and cold but cool in the north.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.
Mpumalanga
Temperature: Morning fog patches in places, otherwise partly cloudy and cool.
Limpopo
Temperature: Morning fog patches over the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cool with afternoon showers and thundershowers over the Western Bushveld.
North West
Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool with isolated showers and thunder-showers, except in the west and extreme north-ea
Free State
Temperature: Fine in the extreme east until late afternoon, otherwise partly cloudy and cool with isolated showers and thunder-showers in the north-west
Northern Cape
Temperature: Fine and warm, while cool along the coast and south high-lying regions. It will be partly cloudy in the north, spreading south during late afternoon, becoming cloudy with fog patches along the coast and the adjacent interior from the afternoon.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be light and variable, becoming moderate to fresh north to north-westerly from the afternoon.
Western Cape
Temperature: Fine and warm, becoming partly cloudy from the west where it will be cool in places, from the afternoon with fog patches along the west coast, spreading to Cape Agulhas and the adjacent interior of the south-west coast by the evening.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be light and variable, but fresh to strong north to north-easterly between Lambert’s Bay and Saldanha and east of Stilbaai. It will become moderate to fresh north-westerly along the west and south-west coast late evening.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.
Eastern Cape
The Western half: Fine and warm, but cool in places in the north.
The Western half – The wind along the coast will be light to moderate northerly, becoming north-easterly in the afternoon.
The Eastern half: Fine and cool, but warm in places south-west.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate north-easterly.
KwaZulu-Natal
Temperature: Morning fog over the interior, otherwise fine and warm, but cool in the south-west.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.
