Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the southern parts of Free State and eastern parts of Northern Cape.

Gauteng:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.
Mpumalanga:
Temperature: Morning fog patches in places over the highveld, otherwise fine and warm to hot becoming partly cloudy with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers.
Limpopo:
Temperature: Fine and warm to hot, becoming partly cloudy in places in the west from the afternoon.
North-West Province:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers.
Free State:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers in the east.
Northern Cape:
Temperature: Morning fog patches along the coast, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm but fine in the south.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate southerly to south-easterly but westerly to south-westerly along the south coast
Western Cape:
Temperature: Morning fog patches along the west and south coast including the adjacent interior, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with morning drizzle over the southern overberg district.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate southerly to south-easterly but westerly to south-westerly along the south coast.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.
Eastern Cape:
The Western half – Cloudy with morning fog in places over the southern interior, otherwise fine and cool becoming cloudy in places from evening.
The Western half -Wind: The wind along the coast will be Light to moderate south-westerly.
The Eastern half -Fine and cool, but cloudy south of the escarpment with a chance of light rain from late afternoon.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be Light south-westerly.
Kwazulu-Natal:
Temperature: Fine and warm becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon. Isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers expected in the west but with a chance of light evening rain and showers along the coast, south of Richardsbay.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate northerly to north-easterly, becoming moderate south-westerly from the south in the morning, spreading northwards to Richards Bay.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.
