A. Yellow Level 3 Warning for Disruptive Rain leading to flooding of susceptible formal/informal settlements or roads, low-lying areas and bridges, expected over the City of Cape Town, Swartland, Drakenstein and Stellenbosch Local Municipalities in the Western Cape during the morning.

Gauteng:
Temperature: Fine and warm..
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.
Mpumalanga:
Temperature: Fine and cool to warm but hot in the Lowveld.
Limpopo:
Temperature: Fine and cool to warm.
North-West Province:
Temperature: Fine and warm, becoming partly cloudy over the central and western parts in the afternoon, with isolated evening showers and thundershowers in the west.
Free State:
Temperature: Fine and cool to warm, becoming partly cloudy over the central and western parts in the afternoon.
Northern Cape:
Temperature: Cloudy in the west at first with morning and evening fog patches along the coast and adjacent interior, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm, but fine in the east at first. Isolated showers and thundershowers are expected in the north-east in the afternoon.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be light and variable, becoming moderate southerly by the late afternoon.
Western Cape:
Temperature: Cloudy with rain in the south-west, central and southern parts, which will be heavy at times in the extreme south- west during the morning, otherwise partly cloudy and cool, but warm in the north-east. Evening fog is expected along the west coast and adjacent interior as well in the Cape Metropole areas.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh westerly to north-westerly, but strong in the south-west during the morning. It will become light and variable north of Table Bay from the early evening.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.
Eastern Cape:
The Western half – Partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers, except in the extreme north-east, with scattered showers and rain along the coast, west of the Cannon Rocks where it will be cloudy at times.
The Western half -Wind: The wind along the coast will be light northerly, becoming light to moderate south-westerly from the west by the late morning.
The Eastern half – Partly cloudy and warm, with isolated showers and thundershowers in the south in the afternoon.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be light northerly, becoming light to moderate north-easterly from the late morning.
Kwazulu-Natal:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be light south-easterly in the extreme north at first, otherwise moderate north-easterly.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.
