IMPACT-BASED WARNINGS:
A. An Orange level 6 warning for disruptive rain leading possible damage to roads, low lying bridges, and infrastructure, flooding of roads, mudslides and rock falls can be expected over Gauteng, eastern parts of both the Free State and North-West, Mpumalanga except in the lowveld and the extreme southern Limpopo.
B. A Yellow level 4 warning for disruptive rain leading to flooding of roads, informal and formal settlements, low-lying areas and bridges as well as damages to infrastructure expected over the central parts of both the Free State and NorthWest
C. A Yellow level 2 warning for disruptive rain leading to localized flooding of roads, low-lying areas and bridges, as well as poor driving conditions due to pooling of water on roads is expected over lowveld of Mpumalanga, the central and southern parts of Limpopo and the western parts of KZN.

Gauteng:
Temperature: Cloudy and cool with widespread showers and thundershowers moderating in the evening.

Mpumalanga:
Temperature: Cloudy and cool with widespread showers and thundershowers but scattered in the Lowveld.
Limpopo:
Temperature: Cloudy and cool with widespread showers and thundershowers, but isolated in the Lowveld.
North-West Province:
Temperature: Cloudy and cool to warm with scattered to widespread showers and thundershowers but isolated in the west.
Free State:
Temperature: Cloudy becoming partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers but widespread in the extreme east.
Northern Cape:
Temperature: Cloudy to partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers in the extreme north east but cool in the west.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-westerly.
Western Cape:
Temperature: Cloudy and cool with light rain in the south-west at first extending along the south coast by the morning. It will become partly cloudy and warm from the afternoon but fine in the west.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate southerly along the west coast otherwise moderate to fresh south-westerly.

Eastern Cape:
The Western half –Fine in places in the south at first, otherwise cloudy and cool with isolated showers and rain in the south and east.
The Western half -Wind: The wind along the coast will be Fresh to strong south westerly, becoming light to moderate from the evening.
The Eastern half -Partly cloudy in places, otherwise cloudy and cool with isolated showers and thundershowers, but scattered in the east.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh south westerly, reaching strong from mid-morning.
Kwazulu-Natal:
Temperature: Cloudy and cool to warm with scattered showers and thundershowers, but widespread in the north-east.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be Moderate north-easterly, becoming moderate to fresh south-westerly from the south by mid-morning, spreading to Kosi Bay by late afternoon.
