KwaZulu-Natal’s Dolphin Coast offers incredible outdoor accommodation – from caravan parks to luxury campsites, you can find it all! Here are a few that you shouldn’t miss.

Dolphin Holiday Resort

Why you should camp here: Dolphin Holiday Resort comprises of a variety of campsites from fully grassed sites to fully shaded sites all with 15amp electricity points, if you prefer a few more comforts while camping.

The resort also offers four modern, well maintained ablutions blocks, two laundries and two sculleries which are easily accessible to all sites.

There is also a number of fabulous activities for young and old, including; a swimming pool (semi heated during the winter seasons), a beach sand volleyball court, a TV room which has full satellite coverage, trampolines, pool tables, outdoor chess and lots more.

Salt Rock Caravan park on the Dolphin Coast

Why you should camp here: If caravanning is your preference then Salt Rock Caravan Park on the Dolphin Coast is not to be missed. The beach park boasts spectacular ocean views and is situated directly in front of the famous tidal pool and fishing towers.

Zinkwazi Lagoon Lodge

Why you should camp here: Only 80 kilometers away from Durban, Zinkwazi Lagoon Beach offers remote luxury in superb forest camping sites set in a lush riverine forest with many tropical and flowering trees.

There is a central recreational lawn with pool, playground, games hall, a unique lagoon, communal braais and pub available to all campers. Ablution blocks, with scullery and laundry facilities, are also conveniently scattered throughout the camping site.
