Cederberg Mountains

The Cederberg Mountains offer a unique wildflower experience for visitors and the best time to visit for wildflowers is during the spring months. The rugged terrain combined with the floral beauty makes it an epic destination for any and all nature enthusiasts.

Biedouw Valley, Western Cape

The remote and picturesque Biedouw Valley known for its biodiversity and stunning landscapes, is another top spot worth visiting during wildflower season in South Africa. The best time to see wildflowers in Biedouw Valley is during the late winter (August) and early spring (September and October) months.

This is when the valley comes alive with an explosion of colors as various wildflower species bloom.

Table Mountain National Park

Table Mountain and its surrounding areas also boasts an impressive array of flora. You can take guided walks or hikes to spot wildflowers while enjoying breathtaking views of the Mother City.

Harold Porter National Botanical Garden, Western Cape
