South African National Parks (SANParks) yesterday announced that the much-anticipated West Coast National Park flower season had officially begun.
In a statement they said that due to the exceptional rainfall received during the winter season, they were expecting an extraordinary bloom in the flower fields, promising a wonderful spectacle for all visitors.

Charlene Adams, West Coast National Park Park Manager said that they were excited about this year’s flower season and that the vibrant blooms were bound to mesmerize every visitor.
“The abundance of rainfall has worked wonders and we can’t wait to showcase the beauty of our park during the months of August and September.” Adams said.
