Gauteng’s new shopping mall has its own shooting range

Hey Mall Rats: Gauteng’s newest shopping mall has just opened in Centurion and it features its very own onsite shooting range.

The new Irene Link retail mall in the Centurion has opened its doors to shoppers.

The shopping centre boasts 15 000 square metres of bespoke retail and spans three levels, offering free parking and 24-hour security.

The shopping mall has some unique features – such as a 10-lane, 25-metre indoor shooting range, as well as the only 8-lane 200-metre indoor shooting range in South Africa.

The shooting range will open in mid-October.

The 75 000 square metre mixed-use precinct is situated next to the Irene Security Estate in Doringkloof.

There are also plans for a future Gautrain station and bus stations in the vicinity.
