The big December break is in full swing, and the City of Gold has a variety of entertainment options for kids. Here are some exciting activities that won’t break the bank, and can offer a few hours of fun for kids and their parents.

TRAMPOLINING AT BOUNCE

Bounce is a big indoor trampoline park that offers kids a complete adrenaline rush to burn off all their pent-up energy. When trampolining, kids experience the ultimate rush of extreme sports combined with freestyle gymnastics.

INDOOR CLIMBING AT CITY ROCK

CityRock Johannesburg is the largest indoor climbing centre in South Africa. CityRock offers 2,000 square meters of wall climbing, 124 rope anchors, belay walls, bouldering, a fully stocked gear shop as well as a yoga studio for those not keen to climb.

Cardio and strength training are offered, as well as special areas for kids’ climbing and kiddies’ birthday parties. Children younger than five are not allowed to climb.

AERIAL OBSTACLE COURSE AT ACROBRANCH

Acrobranch is a fun treetop experience for kids and parents alike. Each of the courses is designed with a variety of obstacles such as zip lines, swings, bridges and nets. Life is better on roller skates at Rollegoli. In Johannesburg there are few places where kids can truly feel free, and Rollegoli is one of them.
