Emirates recently announced an increase in flight services from Cape Town to Dubai – now offering TWO daily flights on the route.
In an effort to meet the increased demand for travel, UAE flag carrier, Emirates had made the decision to double down on flight services between Cape Town and Dubai.
As per reports, last week, 1 February, the airline reintroduced its second daily flight from the Mother City. With this new service, totaling fourteen flights on the Dubai-Cape Town route, Emirates is now confidently back to full operations, to pre-pandemic levels.
According to a statement by the carrier, the resumption of a second daily service to Cape Town emphasized their commitment to support inbound tourism, and boost trade and business opportunities by providing travellers greater access to and from Cape Town.
“The ramp up of flights across Emirates’ South African gateways are in line with the airline’s ongoing efforts to support South Africa’s recovery through enhanced connectivity across its cities,” Emirates said.

The new flight, EK773, will depart Cape Town daily at 13:25.
The existing daily flight, EK 771, leaves Cape Town later in the day at 18:25.
