Events in Durban: Exciting events happening this weekend

Looking for something exciting to do this weekend? Here are some really cool events happening in Durban from 29 September to 1 October 2023.

Kids Spring Festival

What: The school holidays are here and of you’re looking for something to keep the kids entertained, Fig Tree Farm will be hosting a Kids Spring Festival and it promises to be tons of fun for the kids. Activities to look forward to include:

  • Jumping castles
  • Mechanical rides
  • Carnival snacks
  • Slush puppies
  • Face painter
  • Juggler
  • Stilt walkers
  • Balloon artist
  • Water slide (Bring your own towels and bathing suits.)

Tickets cost R150 per child, book here.

When: Saturday, 30 September to Tuesday, 3 October 2023, from 10:00 to 14:00

Where: Fig Tree Farm, 57 Inanda Rd, Hillcrest, Durban.

Women’s Wellness Morning in Durban

What: The Umhlanga Arch is the place to be this Saturday, for a Women’s Wellness Morning hosted by Reset Collective. Tickets cost R320 per person and gets you express workouts with Reset Collective, a dance session, a Manifestation and Female Sexuality chat and brunch by Falafel Fundi with drinks by Red Bull. Book tickets here.

When: Saturday, 30 September 2023, from 09:00 t0 12:00

Thornleigh Wine And Curry Pairing

What: Experience a Sunday lunch with a difference at a Thornleigh Wine and Curry pairing at The Market, Greyville Racecourse this weekend. You will get to try samoosas, butter chicken curry, mutton curry and soji all paired with Thornleigh wines. Tickets cost R100 per person and can be booked here.

When: Sunday, 1 October 2023, from 12:00 to 16:00
