CapeNature will be hosting its ninth annual Free Access Week, where several of its nature reserves will be open for free during September.
Western Cape government entity, CapeNature will open up 24 of its nature reserves for free this Tourism Month.
According to Tourism Update, the Free Access Week will occur from 23 to 29 September 2023 and the public is invited to access any of 24 selected nature reserves across the Western Cape during this time.

Those who take advantage of the free week, will be be allowed day entry to the reserves for walking, hiking, bird watching, swimming and mountain biking.

It’s important to note that free access is only applicable to regular reserve hours and entries at CapeNature reserve gates, and no free access will be given to those who book through the contact centre.
