LIFT Arline surprised its passengers who were boarding from Johannesburg to Cape Town on Tuesday morning, 14 February with flowers and chocolates for Valentine’s Day.
The Airline also had Comedian and TV personality, Mongezi “Tol Ass Mo” Mahlangu and saxophonist, Cathy Del Mei on board.
The two kept the passengers entertained throughout the flight.
Tol Ass Mo cracked jokes while Del Mei serenaded passengers with her rendition of Freshly Ground’s Dooby Do, followed by Baby Tjoklits and Mango Groove’s Special Star.
Lift CEO Jon Ayache said the airline wanted to make passengers feel special and celebrate a “love for local”.
“It’s no secret that South Africans have had their fair share of struggles, which is why we love making our passengers feel special. Today we are bringing a little extra love to their lives as we celebrate our country and our passengers with Proudly SA,” TimesLive quoted Ayache.
