The ticketing company took to social media to apologise to ticket holders for the delay in processing refunds.

“We’d like to take this opportunity to apologise for the delay in processing some of the Justin Bieber refunds.

“Regrettably, there has been an unexpected glitch which we and our payment partners are working to resolve as a matter of urgency.

“We want our customers to be assured that our promise of a full refund will be honoured. Please know that this is our number one priority and we are working around the clock to guarantee that all customers receive a full refund as soon as possible,” Ticketmaster confirmed on Instagram.

JUSTIN BIEBER WAS DUE TO PERFORM IN TWO SHOWS IN SOUTH AFRICA

To date ticket refunds in Johannesburg have been fully processed, with “about 40%” remaining in Cape Town.

Bieber was due to perform at the Cape Town Stadium on 28 September and at FNB Stadium on 1 October.

However, both shows – and large parts of his Justice World Tour – were cancelled after the Canadian singer announced that he would be taking a break to take care of his health.

Bieber is suffering from Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, a complication of shingles.

The 28-year-old megastar revealed that the syndrome had caused him partial facial paralysis.
