Cruise Croatia recently conducted study that revealed the current most popular travel destinations on TikTok according to views.

The study analysed 155 different countries along with the search trends of travellers on TikTok using the hastags #DESTINATION and #DESTINATIONtravel over a 4-month period from 5 March 2023 to 3 July 2023, reports Travel Daily Media.

The results showed that the most viewed destination on TikTok was Barcelona, Spain, with 24 billion views and counting. Next up was New York City, United States with just over 18 billion views. Completing the top three was the city of Paris, France with 16 billion views.

Graham, Co-Founder of Cruise Croatia, said that TikTok had become an invaluable source for travel inspiration.

“Our research highlights the destinations that resonate most with travellers, providing a glimpse into the hottest spots to explore in 2023 using accurate and the most up-to-date data” Graham said via Travel Daily Media.
