Fly for R9 with FlySafair

FlySafair’s massive and extremely popular annual mega-sale is back again this year and tickets are going for just R9. Every year in every sale, hopeful travellers hound the FlySafair website in the hopes of scoring a ridiculously low-priced (basically free) flight giveaway. Some tickets in the past have even sold for an insane R1.

This year, the airline’s mega-sale tickets are selling for just R9, and has been dubbed “The Lucky R9 Sale”- and you really have to be lucky to get a ticket!

There are 50 000 R9 tickets up for grabs this year, and it’s first come, first serve. FlySafair will allow customers onto the website from 9:00 and once you are on the site, you can use their search tool to track down the R9 tickets and destinations and watch your preferred dates, so that when you get onto the site, you know where to locate those lucky seats!

Sale Terms and Conditions

Here are some of the terms and conditions of the R9 sale:

  • R9 (nine Rand) tickets on domestic routes ONLY and excludes flights to Mauritius and Zanzibar
  • Tickets will only be available for selected departures between 3 May 2023 and the 30 November 2023.
  • The R9 tickets are only available on the airline’s Lite fare.
  • Tickets are non-refundable and may not be cancelled. Penalties and differences in fares will apply for any changes made to R9 tickets
