Spain is the latest country to lift SA travel ban

Hola! Spain is the latest country that has reopened its doors for South African travellers – with no quarantine required.

Travelnews reports that Spain has reopened its borders to nine south African countries, lifting its travel ban since November 2021. Here are some points to remember before your travels:

Travellers must be fully vaccinated.
Travellers must show proof of a negative test result (taken within 72 hours prior to arrival if a PCR test, or 24 hours if a rapid antigen test).
All passengers arriving in Spain from any country, including those in transit to other countries, must complete a Health Control Form before departure, as well as obtain their QR code to present at boarding and on arrival in the country.

Spain among many countries who have opened up for South African travel

Spain is just one of the countries in the list who have recently and progressively decided to reopen borders to South African travellers. Some others include, European countries like Germany and France, and island nations like the Seychelles, Maldives and Mauritius.
