What’s Snow World?

If you’re in need of a winter snow fix and you just can’t wait for Mother Nature to provide, Snow World in Strand has got you covered. But what is Snow World and what can one expect from it?

Snow World is an entertainment activation offering unique combinations of snow and ice activities for all ages. The company has set up shop at Waterworld along Strand’s Beach road, providing incredibly fun activities for everyone to enjoy. Check out some of the activities below:

Ice Slides: These consist of solid ice toboggan slides at various heights and styles. The circular downward spiral, radical rollercoaster and a mini ice slide for toddlers will keep the kids busy for hours.

Animals of the Ice Age: At Snow World, visitors can find seven very realistic animals that lived during the prehistoric ice age. These life size animals are set in simulations of their natural environment and habitat of their time, with realistic sound and movement. How cool!

Snow Ramp: These are perfect for the kids (and adults) – allowing them to fly down snow ramps on tubes.

Snow Play Area: The snow play area is a great “touch and feel” experience for children to play with snow, build a snowman, make snow angels, and dig around with buckets and spades.
