Lesotho’s Afriski slopes to be closed this winter 2023

Lesotho’s largest tourist attraction in Winter, the Afriski’s ski slopes at the Afriski Mountain Resort will regrettably not take place this year.

LESOTHO AFRISKI RESORT DISAPPOINTS TRAVELLERS

Afriski Mountain Resort, the organisers of this sought-after activity in Lesotho took to social media to announce the disappointing news.

“Dear Valued Friends of Afriski, we regret to inform you that Afriski’s ski slopes will not be open for the Winter 2023 season,” the company said.

According to the Afriski Mountain Resort, this is the first time since 2009 that Afriski is not able to provide a winter adventure.

“We understand that this may require some of our guests to cancel their bookings, and we will make every effort to ensure a smooth process for you.”

HOW TO CLAIM YOUR REFUND FOR SKI SLOPES CANCELLATION

“We still invite you to enjoy a winter holiday in the quiet of the Maluti mountains. Natural snowfall will still occur on some days, allowing for other winter activities to be enjoyed.
Guests with bookings can cancel for a full refund within 30 days of their stay, in accordance with our terms and conditions. Please note that if you booked through an OTA, it may take a few days to process your refund, but we are working closely with them to ensure this happens.
