Looking for something exciting to do this weekend? Here are some really cool events happening in Johannesburg from 22 to 24 September 2023.

Heritage Day at Johannesburg Observatory

What: The Astronomical Association of Southern Africa Johannesburg will be hosting a Star Party at the Johannesburg Observatory on Heritage Day and all are welcome. Tickets are free but need to be reserved here.

When: Sunday, 24 September 2023 from 18:00 to 22:00

Where: Johannesburg Observatory, 18a Gill St, Observatory.

Lunch With The Stars

What: Celebrate Heritage Day in style with a ‘Lunch with the Stars’ event this weekend. Thathu Restaurant will host a first star lunch event where you will have a 6-course lunch paired with wines with talented and legendary artists. Tickets cost R600 per person and can be booked here.

When: Sunday, 24 September 2023 from 13:00 to 18:00

Where: Thathu Restaurant, 178 Oxford Rd, Illovo, Sandton.

Mystery Ghost Tour Joburg

What: Are you ready to spot some ghosts in Johannesburg? Join the Mystery Ghost Tour this weekend, where you’re guaranteed to see something spooky. The tour offers a variety of science, entertainment ans history, all while you visit haunted and poltergeist buildings, and witness paranormal science with demonstrations. Tickets cost R399 per person and can be booked here and more details can be found here.
