Let’s face it: accommodation featuring your very own hot tub is, hands down, a winner. If you’re looking for spots that are not too far from Cape Town, where you can soak your troubles away in a hot tub, here are a few that you shouldn’t miss!

Why you should stay here: Situated on the farm Thornvilla in the Breede Valley between Robertson and McGregor, Fossil Hills offers you a unique stay-cation on a working wine farm. There are six self-catering cottages on the farm, perfect for a weekend getaway when you’re in need of a little R&R. Book the Lavender Cottage (sleeps two) for a romantic night away, or the Pinotage House (sleeps 16) if your want to take the whole family along. All cottages are equipped with a private outdoor KolKol hot tub.

Copia Eco Cabins in Botrivier

Why you should stay here: For an eco-friendly option, Copia Eco Cabins are the perfect choice on a farm just outside Botrivier. Each self-catering cabin is made from old shipping containers and features a fully-equipped kitchen, fireplace, potjie pot and a hot tub, of course. All cabins sleep two adults.

How much does it cost: Cabin prices are R1 750 per night.

Opstal Stay in Rawsonville

Why you should stay here: Nestled in the picturesque Slanghoek Valley with stunning views of vineyards, fynbos and mountains, Opstal Stay is the perfect self-catering accommodation in Rawsonville. They offer two-sleeper and four-sleeper units, all fitted with hot tubs with incredible views. Wind down in one with a glass of wine, and snuggle up in front of the indoor fireplace afterwards. It really is the most epic getaway!

How much does it cost: Midweek rates for a two-sleeper unit goes for around R1 750 per night, while a weekend stay will cost you R2 100 per night.
