Events in Cape Town: Exciting events happening this weekend

Looking for something exciting to do this weekend? Here are some really cool events happening in Cape Town from 11 to 13 August 2023.

What: Beerworks will be hosting an epic BeerLympics this weekend and it promises to be loads of fun. You can look forward to a brewing demonstration, axe throwing event, a sip and paint, lots of competitions and great music. Tickets start from R50 per person. Book them here.

When: Saturday, 12 August 2023 from 12:00 to 20:00

Where: Beerworks at Spice Yard, Unit G04, The Spice Yard, 100 Voortrekker Rd, Salt River, Cape Town.

Mpho Popps Comedy Special in Cape Town

What: Mpho Popps will take to the stage this weekend at the Star Theatre in Cape Town. He will also host an ensemble of some of his comedy friends and comedians to have you laughing off your seats. Tickets cost R300 per person and can be booked here.

When: Saturday, 12 August 2023 from 19:00 to 21:00

Where: Homecoming Centre, Star Theatre, Corner Buitenkant St &, Caledon St, District Six, Cape Town.

A Tribute To ABBA with MIKE & The HARMONIX

What: Love ABBA? Then you won’t want to miss out on MIKE & The HARMONIX: Tribute to ABBA at the Woodstock Brewery this weekend. You’ll hear all the favourite classics like Waterloo, Super Trouper, Dancing Queen and many, many more. Tickets are R150 per person and can be booked here.

When: Saturday, 12 August 2023 from 20:00 to 23:00

Where: Woodstock Brewery, 252 Albert Rd, Woodstock, Cape Town.
