Heritage Day is almost here and if you’re looking for ways to celebrate, here are a few things to do this 24 September…

One of the most popular ways to celebrate Heritage Day is by having a traditional South African braai. Gather friends and family, fire up the grill and cook a variety of meats, from boerewors to steak, while enjoying the great outdoors. Don’t forget to include some traditional side dishes like pap and chakalaka!

Embrace your cultural heritage by wearing traditional South African clothing. South Africa is a melting pot of diverse cultures, and each group has its own unique attire. Whether it’s a brightly colored Zulu outfit, a colorful Xhosa dress, a sparkly Indian saree or any other traditional attire, donning these garments is a wonderful way to honour your heritage.
