Temperature and UVB forecast

Gauteng:

Temperature: Warm in the north, otherwise partly cloudy and cool with scattered showers and thundershowers but isolated in the north.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Cloudy in the east with morning fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered in the southern Highveld. It will be hot over the eastern Lowveld.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Cloudy in the east with morning fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers in the south.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers.

Free State:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Morning fog along the coast, otherwise partly cloudy and warm but hot in the north with isolated afternoon thundershowers in the south.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Cloudy along the west and south coasts in the early morning with fog patches along the west coast, otherwise partly cloudy and hot to very hot but warm along the coastal areas. Isolated showers and thundershowers are expected over the eastern parts from afternoon.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh easterly to south-easterly along the south coast until afternoon, otherwise moderate south-westerly.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.

Eastern Cape:

The Western half –Partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers.

The Western half -Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh easterly.

The Eastern half -Partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered along the escarpment.

The Eastern half -The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh easterly to north-easterly.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Morning fog over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers but scattered in the west.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh easterly to north-easterly.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.
