Temperature and UVB forecast

Gauteng:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered in the extreme east.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Morning fog patches in the highveld and escarpment, otherwise cloudy and cool with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered in the extreme western highveld.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Morning fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Morning fog patches in the south-east, otherwise fine becoming partly cloudy and warm to hot,with isolated showers and thundershowers in the east.

Free State:

Temperature: Morning fog patches in the east, otherwise fine becoming partly cloudy and warm to hot, with isolated showers and thundershowers in the north-east

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Fine and warm to hot, but very hot in the west.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate southerly to south-easterly.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Fine and warm to hot in the west, otherwise cloudy in the east at first becoming fine and warm to hot.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong easterly along the south-coast, otherwise moderate to fresh south-easterly but strong in the south-west.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.

Eastern Cape:

The Western half – Cloudy in the morning otherwise sunny and warm.

The Western half -Wind: The wind along the coast will be light easterly becoming fresh by afternoon.

The Eastern half -Cloudy with isolated light showers and rain over the eastern and southern parts.

The Eastern halfWind: The wind along the coast will be light easterly, becoming moderate north-easterly.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Morning fog patches in places over the western interior, otherwise partly cloudy to cloudy and cool but warm in the north-east. Isolated showers and thundershowers are expected but scattered along the coast and its adjacent interior.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate southerly to south-easterly

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.
