Temperature and UVB forecast

Gauteng:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Cloudy in the east with morning fog patches and drizzle along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cool but cold in places along the escarpment. It will be warm in the west with isolated showers and thundershowers in the north-west.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Cloudy in the east with morning fog patches and drizzle along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm but hot in the west where isolated afternoon thundershowers are expected.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Fine in the west, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot.

Free State:

Temperature: Partly cloudy in the east, with morning fog patches, otherwise fine and warm

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Cool along the coast, otherwise fine and warm to hot.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south to south-easterly, but strong in the north towards the evening.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Fine and cool to warm but partly cloudy to cloudy over the southern parts of the south-west coast together with the western parts of the south coast in the morning and evening.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be light and variable east of Gans Bay but moderate southerly in the afternoon, otherwise light to moderate southerly to south-easterly becoming fresh to strong southerly to south-westerly north of Cape Point from the late morning.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme

Eastern Cape:

The Western half –Fine and warm.

The Western half -Wind: The wind along the coast will be Light to moderate southerly to south-westerly, becoming north-easterly in the evening.

The Eastern half -Fine and cool to warm, becoming partly cloudy along the coast and adjacent interior.

The Eastern halfWind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-westerly, becoming north-easterly in the evening.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Morning over the interior, otherwise cloudy with isolated light morning rain in the extreme east and north, becoming partly cloudy and cool towards afternoon.

Wind: Wind along the coast will become moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly, becoming moderate easterly to north-easterly in the south in the afternoon.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.
