Temperature and UVB forecast

Gauteng:

Temperature: Fine and hot, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon with isolated thundershowers in the south.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Extremely hot in places in the Lowveld, otherwise fine and hot to very hot, becoming partly cloudy in the Highveld with isolated afternoon thundershowers.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Extremely hot in the Limpopo Valley, otherwise fine and hot to very hot, becoming partly cloudy in the south in the afternoon.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Fine and warm to hot becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon with isolated showers and thundershowers except in the north-west.

Free State:

Temperature: Fine and warm to hot becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon with isolated showers and thundershowers.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Cloudy to partly cloudy along the coast and its adjacent interior in the morning, otherwise fine and warm to hot but cool in the north-west.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Cloudy in the south with morning mist along the western parts of the south-coast and the north-western coastline, otherwise fine and cool to warm but hot in the north-west.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate westerly to south-westerly in the south in the morning, otherwise moderate southerly to south-easterly but fresh to strong in the west.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.

Eastern Cape:

The Western half –Cloudy along the coast with isolated light rain, otherwise fine and warm to hot, becoming partly cloudy.

The Western half -Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate south-westerly, becoming moderate to fresh easterly in the evening.

The Eastern half -Fine and warm to hot, becoming partly cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers

The Eastern half -The wind along the coast will be moderate southerly to south-westerly, becoming light north-easterly in the evening.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Partly cloudy to cloudy and warm but hot in places in the interior, with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers in the west.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh northerly north of Richards Bay at first, otherwise moderate to fresh south-westerly.
