IMPACT-BASED WARNINGS:
1. A Yellow level 4 Warning for thunderstorms with disruptive rain leading to flooding of roads, informal and formal settlements as well as disruptions to traffic flow and possible damages to roads and bridges is expected along the escarpment and Lowveld areas of Mpumalanga from the afternoon.
2. A Yellow level 2 Warning for thunderstorms with disruptive rain and gusty winds leading to localized flooding of susceptible formal and informal settlements and roads and difficult driving conditions is expected over the Highveld of Mpumalanga, the southern parts of Limpopo, the northern and eastern parts of KwaZulu-Natal and the north-eastern parts of the Free State.

The Eastern half -Cloudy and cool with scattered showers and thundershowers but widespread showers can be expected along the Wild Coast.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate south-easterly, becoming moderate to fresh north-easterly from the afternoon.
Temperature: Morning fog over the interior, otherwise cloudy and cool with widespread showers and thundershowers but scattered in the north-east where it will be warm.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate north-easterly north of Durban,otherwise moderate south-easterly to easterly, spreading to the north in the afternoon.
