Temperature and UVB forecast

Gauteng:

Temperature: Cloudy with morning fog patches becoming partly cloudy and cool but warm in the north with isolated thunderstorms.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Morning fog patches over the escarpment, otherwise cloudy and cool with isolated showers and thundershowers.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Morning fog patches over the escarpment, otherwise cloudy to partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Fine and warm, but partly cloudy in the east with isolated showers and thundershowers in the extreme east

Free State:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm, but cool in the east.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Cloudy in the west at first,otherwise fine and hot but warm and cool in the south.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh sout-easterly

Western Cape:

Temperature: Partly cloudy in the central interior at first, otherwise fine and warm to hot.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-easterly in the south in the morning, otherwise moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.

Eastern Cape:

The Western half –Partly cloudy in places early morning, otherwise fine and warm, but cool along the coast.

The Western half -Wind: The wind along the coast will be Light to moderate north westerly early morning, otherwise moderate to fresh easterly, becoming strong north easterly from the afternoon.

The Eastern half -Cloudy with fog and drizzle in the north east during the morning, otherwise partly cloudy and cool, becoming fine in the west by late morning.

The Eastern halfWind: The wind along the coast will be Light to moderate westerly early morning, otherwise south easterly, becoming fresh to strong north easterly from late afternoon.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Cloudy and cool with isolated showers and rain.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh south-westerly to southerly, becoming easterly to south-easterly from the south in the afternoon, spreading to Mandeni by evening
